Govt restructuring CAA, PIA to improve performance: Bukhari

Islamabad, July 02, 2020 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari says the government is restructuring the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to improve their performance.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the government is taking action against the pilots holding bogus degrees or licenses. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed for scrutiny and forensic report of 262 pilots which would be made public. Zulfiqar Bukhari said the fake degree holders would be terminated from service to avoid untoward incidents like Karachi PIA plane crash.
