LARKANA: Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) MPA Moazim Ali Abbasi while talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, said that this government is standing on two votes, hence, it cannot provide any relief to the masses.

He said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had gone to London to meet Nawaz Sharif to seek ministries for coalition parties, but in fact, he talked about taking part in Punjab politics, but he did not receive a clear reply.

Abbasi said that 14 parties brought an end to Imran Khan’s government collectively, but their coalition is unnatural. He said the only solution to the prevailing political crisis is holding elections for which courts and other institutions should consider because, he added, the nation is divided now which will harm the country if elections are not held for which PTI has been demanding and other political parties have also been demanding in the past including Maulana Fazlur Rahman of JUI-F.

He said that those responsible for corruption in the country have become the responsible ones in power today from the accused. He said that NAB and FIA are under them now. He said names from ECL are being removed which is astonishing.

He said that the performance of the Sindh government has been very bad for 14 years as it is evident and exposed from the recent Mehar fire incident. He said that Sindh is passing through a destitute-like situation presently for which the present Sindh Government is responsible.

He said that with the support of religious, social, nationalist parties and the political parties involved in the Larkana Awami Ittehad, I have twice been twice elected MPA on the PS-11, so I am grateful to the Larkana people. He said in reply to a question that the Sindh government had made big changes in the delimitation before the local bodies elections and they had thus started pre-poll rigging. We will field our candidates in front of the PPP candidates in consultation with all the friends of the Larkana Awami Ittehad, he added.
