KARACHI: Grand Health Alliance (GHA) has announced a complete strike from Karachi to Kashmore on 15 February 2021 against non-implementation of promised made with healthcare workers.
The doctors, paramedical staff and nurses, under the banner of Grand Health Alliance, will also stage a protest demonstration and a sit-in outside the Karachi Press Club on 15 Feb that will continue until acceptance of their demands.
Central Leader of GHA Aijaz Ali Kaleri, while talking to PPI, said the Sindh government had failed to implement provision of high risk allowance on regular basis, four-tier formula for nurses, health professional allowance and time-scale for paramedical staff.
He further informed that authorized concerned of Sindh health department seemed not interested to resolve the genuine issues of health care professional. He said officials were using delaying tactics and had compelled front line workers to go on strike again.
