Unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade at Nawab Ghous Baksh Girls High School on Sariab Road in Quetta on Tuesday, injuring a school watchman and partially damaging the main gate, police said.
The attack occurred early in the day, leaving the watchman with minor injuries, according to law enforcement officials. The explosion caused some damage to the school’s entrance but did not result in any other casualties.
Police rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area, and collected evidence. A search operation has been launched to apprehend those responsible, and an investigation is underway by authorities at the Sariab Road Police Station.
