LAHORE: Gujjarpura police station has recovered a seven-year missing boy and handed him over to his father here on Saturday. According to police sources, a boy namely Khazima went missing. His parents searched for him here and there but to no avail. As the last resort, they called on 15. Following this, the Gujjarpura police Lahore put the Dolphin Squad on alert besides propagating the missing news of the boy on social media and mosques.

At last, a Police patrolling team found the boy and handed him over to their family members safe and sound. The father of the missing child thanked the police and lauded their efforts. SP Civil Line Akhlaq Ullah Tarar also lauded Gujjarpura police for promoting community policing. He said community policing is being promoted along with crime prevention.
