Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh has criticized the repeated delays in the verdict of the Al-Qadir Trust case, claiming the postponement reflects a lack of evidence against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

In a video statement, Sheikh remarked, “When there is no basis for conviction, such delays occur. Some people are eager to see Imran Khan convicted, but their wishes cannot override justice.”

Sheikh praised the establishment of Al-Qadir University, describing it as a symbol of Imran Khan’s devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). ‘Neither Imran Khan nor Bushra Bibi gained financially from this project,’ he said. ‘On the contrary, billions of rupees that were previously out of reach were brought back to Pakistan.’ He added that the project promotes Islamic education and should not be seen as a wrongdoing.

Sheikh warned that any conviction based on false accusations in the Al-Qadir Trust case would severely damage Pakistan’s judicial credibility. ‘Our judicial system will suffer further disgrace internationally if such politically motivated verdicts are handed down,’ he stated.

The PTI leader called for the immediate release of Imran Khan, urging authorities to cease creating barriers between the former prime minister and the people. ‘Imran Khan is a leader of the Islamic world. If not today, he will inevitably be released tomorrow,’ sheikh concluded.
