Srinagar, August 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Hanif Kalas, Chairman of the Pir Panjal Peace Foundation, called on senior Hurriyat leader Bilal Ghani Lone at his residence in Srinagar, today.
The two leaders discussed the prevailing situation in IIOJK and the south Asian region, particularly in the backdrop of the 5th August illegal move of Narendra Modi government in the occupied territory. They stressed the need for greater unity among the ranks of Kashmiri people to take the ongoing freedom movement to its logical conclusion in a more effective manner.
The Hurriyat leaders strongly denounced the surge in human rights violations and killing of innocent youth in fake encounters by Indian troops across the occupied territory. They urged the world community, the UN, the OIC and Arab League to play their role in granting the Kashmiri people their inalienable right to self-determination.
