Hashish worth Rs100 million being smuggled to Europe seized

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Collectorate of Customs Balochistan on Wednesday claimed to have foiled a bid to smuggle 430 kilograms of high quality hashish worth Rs100 million in an operation at Nutal check post of Customs in Dera Murad Jamali.

According to Collectorate of Customs Balochistan information, 430 kilograms of high quality hashish was recovered from the hidden places of a truck at Nutal check post in Dera Murad Jamali area of Balochistan province. The value of the seized hashish, which was to be smuggled to Europe, was stated to be Rs 100 million.

The operation was conducted by the staff of Nutal Check Post Customs under the supervision of Additional Collector, Customs, Yasir Wahab Kalar, Assistant Collector, Umair Khan, Superintendent, Khurshid Hasni, Inspector, Ali Ahmed Zehri in compliance with the directives of Gul Rehman, Chief Collector, Collectorate of Custom, Balochistan and Collector, Customs (Preventive).
