QUETTA: Parliamentary Secretary for Information, Bushra Rind, has said that the incumbent provincial government had executed record development projects in the province.
Addressing a press conference with Mir Ziaullah Langove, Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs and Mir Zahoor Buledi, Minister for Finance, at Quetta Press Club here on Tuesday, she said that the provincial government could be credited for upgradation of the highways of Balochistan from single to dual carriage way, adding that healthcare relief was being provided to the people through universal health card.
She added that construction work of cancer hospital was in progress while cardiac hospital was also going to be completed. Besides widening Sariab Road, work for widening of Patel Road and Prince Road would also be started, said she. Speaking on the occasion, Mir Ziaullah Langove said that the creation of post in the department was the most cumbersome job in our system.
Langove added, “Whoever has the evidence of any kind of irregularity in any departments, he or she should present the proof and strict action in accordance with law will accordingly be taken”. Minister for Finance, Mir Zahoor Buledi said that 73 billion rupees had been spent on the development projects reflected in the PSDP for the current fiscal year.
Buledi added that the federal government had approved our projects with the estimated cost of Rs. 162 billion. On the occasion, Minister for Board of Revenue, Mir Saleem Khosa, Advisor to Chief Minister for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Parliamentary Secretary for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Maajabeen Sheeran and MPA Mubeen Khan Khilji were also present.
Meanwhile, Ali Raza Khosa (BSS/BS-17/PS), Acting Deputy Director, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner (Political), Sibbi Division against existing vacancy, according to a notification issued by Services and General Administration Department, Government of Balochistan on June 08, 2021.
