The Meteorological Department Quetta Regional Center today warned of continued heatwave conditions in southern and eastern districts of Balochistan, forecasting very hot and dry weather for the coming days.
The department highlighted above-normal daytime temperatures in areas including Chagai, Sibbi, Naseerabad, and other districts, with dust and sand gusts likely in Nokkundi, Kharan, and surrounding regions.
The forecast predicts similar conditions for the next 48 hours, urging residents to prepare for high temperatures and blowing dust. Notably, Sibbi and Nokkundi recorded the highest temperatures at 46°C in the past 24 hours.
The department has also cautioned that the heatwave is expected to persist, impacting daily activities and increasing the need for precautionary measures.
