LAHORE:Heavy rain with gusty winds lashed parts of the Punjab capital on Sunday afternoon, turning weather pleasant.
Isolated but heavy rain was reported in parts of Lahore, including Gulberg, Ferozepur Road, The Mall and Canal Road, turning the weather pleasant. The Met Department has forecast rainfall to continue till September 20.
Over in Sindh, the provincial capital of Karachi is set to receive the third spell of rains. As per the weather office, the weather is set to remain hot and humid today due to low pressure.
Thus, citizens have turned towards Seaview. Light rain has been forecast for the city on September 18 and 19, however today the weather is likely to remain hot and humid. According to the Met Department, the sky will remain partly cloudy in the next 24 hours, while there is a possibility of a drizzle in the city.
The minimum temperature of the city was recorded as 27.5 degrees Celsius, while maximum was likely to rise to 33 to 35 degrees. The percentage of humidity in the air is 75%, the Met Department said, adding winds were blowing from the southwest at a speed of 18 to 27 kilometres per hour.
