Hi-tech security for Amarnath Yatra in IOK

Srinagar, June 08, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Amarnath Yatra this year will go hi-tech with Indian government and the puppet regime in coordination with each other deciding to install sophisticated gadgetry along the highways, base camps and yatra tracks, to constantly monitor the yatra vehicles and pilgrims

Media reports said this will be for the first time when such hi-tech security arrangements will be made for the yatra. Decision to this effect was taken at a meeting in Srinagar and chaired by Indian Home Minister, Rajnath Singh, to review situation in the territory with a special review for upcoming annual Amarnath Yatra, which will start from 28th of this month and will last till 26th August.

The Indian Home Minister also said that additional companies of paramilitary forces would be deployed during the yatra. It was also decided at the meeting that more police personnel will be deployed this year than previous year for the yatra.
