High Commissioner for Pakistan accompanied by Commercial Secretary, Mr. Muhammad Suleman Khan visited the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce Industry on 19th October, 2020

Islamabad, October 20, 2020 (PPI-OT):High Commissioner for Pakistan Mr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui accompanied by Commercial Secretary, Mr. Muhammad Suleman Khan visited the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce Industry (FBCCI) on 19th October, 2020. The High Commissioner was warmly received by Mr. Sheikh Fazle Fahim, President FBCCI and other members of Board of Directors, says a press release received here today from Dhaka. High Commissioner was briefed on various functions of FBCCI including the role of Bangladesh’s private sector for implementation of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The High Commissioner also visited various facilities developed by FBCCI for carrying out its functions, including the newly developed ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution) Center. The two sides exchanged views on further promotion of bilateral trade in which reasonable potential exists. It was agreed that efforts would be made to facilitate frequent interactions between the private sectors of the two countries for this purpose.
