Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, while speaking to the media at the Sindh Assembly building premises, strongly condemned the attack on former MPA Mir Ghalib Domki and ordered an investigation into the incident.

According to a statement issued from Sindh Home Ministry, he stated: “Miscreants are present everywhere, but the police will achieve success soon.” One bandit involved in the attack on Domki had been killed while the police were taking steps to arrest others involved in this incident.

Lanjar clarified that the incident was not a tribal conflict, so such impression should not be created. He informed that Mir Abid Jatoi had gone for meeting Mir Ghalib Domki following the incident.

The Interior Minister emphasized the government’s clear policy on law and order, stating that there will be no compromise on it. The home minister said mentioned that the miscreants are trying to exert pressure, but they will fail. He said that a joint operation by the police and Rangers was ongoing in the Katcha area, and the hideouts of the bandits had been destroyed.

He further stated that there were no obstacles in the operation, and success would be achieved soon.
