The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has expressed strong support for current and retired faculty members of higher education institutions facing delays in receiving their dues and pensions. Former faculty of Federal Urdu University exemplifies this ongoing issue. HRCP recognized the efforts of senators Masroor Ahsan and Bushra Anjum Butt in bringing the matter to attention in the upper house but noted that no resolution has been achieved. They called for prompt action to address these financial grievances.
