ICCI delegation visits Traders Welfare Association office to felicitate newly elected office bearers

Islamabad, August 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): A delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its President, Sheikh Amir Waheed visited G-9 Markaz, Karachi Company, Islamabad to congratulate newly elected office bearers of Traders Welfare Association on their landslide victory in election. Muhammad Naveed, Senior Vice President, Nisar Ahmed Mirza, Vice President, Ahmed Mughal, Khalid Chaudhry, Ashfaq Chattha, Dildar Abbasi, Ch. Zafar Gujjar, Musharraf Janjua, Ch. Irfan, Asher Hafeez, Faizan Shahzad, Ch. Tahir Mehmood, Izzat Bakhsh, Nasir Chaudhry and Naveed Satti were in the delegation. Newly elected Chairman, Raaj Abbasi, President Raja Javed and General Secretary Awal Khan and other were present.

Speaking at the occasion, Sheikh Amir Waheed, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) was going to form its government in next few days. Mr.Asad Umar had assured the traders of the federal capital to arrange the promulgation of new rent control act in Islamabad within first 100 days of PTI government and called upon him to honor his assurance to resolve the long standing issues of local business community.

Raja Javed, newly elected President and Chairman, Raaj Abbasi, Traders Welfare Association G-9 Markaz, Islamabad thanked ICCI delegation for visiting G-9 Markaz, Islamabad to congratulate them on their success in election and said that Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a representative trade body of the business community of Islamabad and assured that they would fully cooperate with Chamber to resolve issues of the traders.

They further said that CDA and IMC were not paying their attention towards markets development for the last four years, therefore, they called upon the CDA to focus on better development of their market in order to facilitate growth of trading activities. They said that Chamber should further cooperate with TWA, so that issues of traders with CDA could be resolved to promote trade and economic activities.
