Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has emphasized the integration of modern technology to elevate service delivery and policing standards in the capital.

In a series of strategic meetings with senior officers and stakeholders, IGP Rizvi focused on enhancing public service, citywide security, and crime prevention through advanced technological solutions.

IGP Rizvi underscored the importance of an integrated strategy to align policing with contemporary standards. His decisions included redesigning checkpoints and removing unnecessary barriers to improve citizen facilities. He also announced plans to reduce crime rates and extend patrolling to safeguard residents’ lives and properties.

During discussions with DG Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar, Director IT Islamabad Police, and Joint Director Law and Order (PITB) Rai Rashid, the IGP stressed the need for system upgrades. He urged the effective use of modern technologies, directing officers to leverage all resources to elevate policing standards and address public concerns efficiently.

Maintaining law and order and maximizing citizen facilities remain top priorities, affirmed IGP Rizvi, as he called for committed efforts to resolve public issues swiftly and effectively.
