On Monday morning, Imran Khan’s lawyer had filed a petition in the IHC seeking pre-arrest bail in the multiple cases registered in different police stations of the federal capital.

The petition had requested the IHC to stop the federal government from arresting the PTI chief in these cases, as these cases were registered on political grounds. During the appearance of Imran Khan before the court, a heavy contingent of police was deployed in and outside the IHC premises.
