Srinagar, April 27, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have booked two persons including a cleric under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA), in Pulwama district. The occupation authorities slapped the PSA on Manzoor Ahmed Ganai and Aijaz Ahmed Mir for participating in pro-freedom and anti-India demonstrations.
Manzoor Ahmed Ganai of Litter area of Pulwama who was arrested in 2017 was slapped with the PSA fifth time. Aijaz Ahmed Mir, an Imam (cleric) of a Masjid at Pinglena in Pulwama, was arrested by the Indian police nearly a month ago. They both have been lodged at Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu. Manzoor is the only financial supporter for his family that also includes his parents and three sisters. His father, Habibullah, is suffering from multiple ailments.
