A high-level meeting of the Karachi Police, chaired by Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho, discussed crucial issues such as the repatriation of Afghan citizens, actions against drug dealers, and traffic flow. The meeting was attended by DIG Admin, DIG Investigation, DIG CIA, DIG Traffic, DIGs of all zones, District SSPs, SSPs Investigation, and other senior officers.
During the meeting, the implementation of government orders on the repatriation of Afghan citizens was reviewed. Furthermore, progress on ongoing actions against drug dealers was also considered.
A detailed strategy was discussed to improve traffic flow and implement new anti-drug laws.
Additional IG Karachi instructed the officers to ensure immediate, effective, and concrete progress on all these matters. Emphasis was placed on the need for comprehensive measures to further improve police performance.
