The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, met with the President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Azad Kashmir, Shah Ghulam Qadir, at the President’s House Kashmir House in Islamabad. The discussion focused on IndoPak tensions and the Kashmir issue.
During the meeting, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry praised the actions of the Pakistan Army against Indian aggression. He condemned the Indian firing, stating that innocent civilians were targeted by India’s firing along the Line of Control.
The President of Azad Kashmir welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s offer to mediate on the Kashmir issue. He emphasized that the resolution of the Kashmir issue should be trilateral, involving the Kashmiri people.
Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry also advocated for the right to selfdetermination for the Kashmiri people in accordance with United Nations resolutions. The meeting also included discussions on the political situation in Azad Kashmir and other matters of mutual interest.
