Two important meetings were held at the Commissioner’s Office under the chairmanship of Karachi Commissioner Syed Hasan Naqvi.

The first meeting was related to Pakistan Steel, where various issues were discussed, while the second meeting focused on the beautification of Malir and Lyari Expressways.

The first meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Malir Saleem Ullah Odho, Director of Pakistan Steel Chaudhry Tanveer Ahmed, labor leader Shamshad Ahmed Qureshi, and other officials. Important decisions were made regarding electricity bills and house rent.

In the second meeting, various proposals were considered for beautifying the Malir and Lyari Expressways. The Karachi Commissioner directed the forestry department to initiate tree plantation from Qayyumabad to the toll plaza on Malir Highway.

The Karachi Commissioner instructed a complete survey of both highways to formulate a budget. He also decided to visit these highways on Saturday, May 17.

After the meeting, the Karachi Commissioner met with Zahid Saeed, CEO of KITE, and discussed the beautification of Malir Highway. Zahid Saeed assured the Karachi Commissioner of full cooperation.

The Karachi Commissioner also held a meeting regarding Abdullah Haroon Road, where he gathered information about its performance and instructed to transform it into a model road.
