India-China standoff in Ladakh outcome of Delhi’s hegemonic policy

Islamabad, October 14, 2021 (PPI-OT):India-China standoff in Ladakh is an outcome of New Delhi’s hegemonic and belligerent policy in the region.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said India’s hegemonic mind-set is evident from the fact that it is involved in several conflicts with its neighbours.

It said, the RSS-backed Indian regime’s hegemonic and expansionist policy is based on Hindutva ideology that’s why the recent military talks between India and China failed to make a significant headway due to New Delhi’s unrealistic demands.

Chinese military has said that India should abide by the relevant agreements and consensus reached between the two countries, it said, adding that the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said that India had been illegally crossing the line to erode Chinese territory which was the source of tension on the border.

The report said, New Delhi must remember that its unreasonable demands could turn into an unintended full-blown military conflict as the Chinese President, Xi has made it clear that his country is committed to peace but will not give up even one inch of its territory.

According to experts, it said, Chinese army is bound to make the Indian army suffer much more severe losses than it did in 1962 in a future military showdown. India should learn lessons from history and check its hegemonic and belligerent policy with its neighbours, the report maintained.

It said, hegemonic designs of RSS-backed Indian government is a real threat to regional peace and stability and the Modi-led Indian govt’s 5th Aug 2019 illegal actions amply prove that New Delhi is least concerned about regional peace, adding the global community must come forward to stop India from advancing its hate-filled Hindutva policy.
