Srinagar, October 03, 2021 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement has strongly condemned the ongoing killing spree by Indian troops, saying New Delhi is trying to change the demography of the territory.
Junaid-ul-Islam, General Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that India’s move violated UN Security Council resolutions. He said that India was conspiring to turn the Muslim majority into a minority in Jammu and Kashmir but the Kashmiri people would never allow these nefarious intentions to succeed. Expressing grave concern over the extrajudicial killing of Kashmiri youth, he said that India was committing genocide of the Kashmiri youth. He said that youth were making sacrifices for a sacred cause.
Junaid-ul-Islam said that due to the sacrifices of Kashmiris, the Kashmir dispute is now being discussed on international forums. He urged the United Nations and international human rights organizations to take note of the Indian move to change the demographic composition of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the genocide of Kashmiri youth. Junaid-ul-Islam appealed to the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiris.
