Srinagar, July 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi has said that India has created chaotic and explosive situation in the territory. Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi was addressing mourners in Howra Redwani, Kulgam, where three youth including a teenage girl were mercilessly killed by forces’ personnel on Saturday.
He said, “The disputed territory has been turned into a police state and a slaughterhouse, where people are killed mercilessly and detained on frivolous charges.” He said people in occupied Kashmir are peacefully pursuing their right to self-determination. Paying tributes to slain youth Shakir Ahmad Khandey , Irshad Majid and Andleeb, ,he said it is a very heart-wrenching incident and urged the international community that Kashmiris are being killed.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi President, Mir Mohammad Iqbal Mir, visited Hawoora- Redwani, Kulgam along with Shabbir Ahmad Baba and Sajad Ahmad. They expressed solidarity with the bereaved families of 7th class student Andleeba Ali, Shakir Ahmad Khandy and Irshad Ahmad who achieved martyrdom on 7th July , 2018, when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing on innocent people especially youth and termed it an horrendous act of state terrorism . They reiterated that such like tactics of India have failed as of now and in future too they would utterly fail and demanded the immediate attention of comity of nations for the early resolution of Kashmir dispute.
