India using its agencies as pressure tactic on Hurriyat leaders

Srinagar, April 12, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that the Indian government is using its agencies to put pressure on resistance leaders. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday returned to Srinagar after being quizzed for four consecutive days by India’s infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi.

Addressing a Friday congregation at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, today, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that he told the NIA that Kashmir dispute has to be resolved politically. He said Kashmiris are victims of pellet guns and people are being harassed on daily basis. He said he is neither afraid of any threats and nor will succumb to any pressure.
