Jammu, September 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Indian Army is inducting its fleet of multi-copters to keep a close watch on the movement of the people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The multi-copters, ready for use, are equipped with the latest technology for round-the-clock surveillance, media reports quoting sources said.

“Apart from high-precision vision during daytime, the multi-copter will keep eye during night using infra-red and other technical advancements,” said a senior official on the condition of anonymity, Jammu-based newspaper Early Times reported.

Sharing the technical aspects of the new machines, he said: “The multi-copters have high altitude operability and long range recce apart from surveillance overnight using thermal imaging and other features.” These copters will be deployed in the areas along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary. The official said the multi-copters are also capable of usage during cordon and search operations in IIOJK.
