New Delhi, April 24, 2019 (PPI-OT): India’s infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA) has summoned the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani’s grandson, Anees-ul-Islam Shah, for questioning. Anees-ul-Islam Shah is a son of illegally detained APHC leader, Altaf Ahmed Shah.
The NIA has asked Anees to appear for questioning at its headquarters in New Delhi on April 29. His father Altaf Ahmed Shah was arrested by the NIA in 2017 along with several other Hurriyat leaders in a false case registered against them. He is presently lodged in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
