Indian police arrest Muslim driver on charges of ‘bovine smuggling’ in Samba

Jammu, September 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, communal Indian police arrested a Muslim truck driver in Samba district of Jammu region on the fake charges of smuggling bovine. The police in IIOJK, particularly in the Hindu-dominated Jammu region, is under the influence of Hindu extremists and cow vigilantes and arrest innocent Muslim cattle traders and drivers every now and then on the charges of smuggling the bovine.

In the latest incident, the police arrested the driver, Nisar Ahmed Khan, resident of Rakhi-Brah area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad district, from a police check point in Ghagwal area of Samba district while he was transporting cattle to the Kashmir Valley. The police personnel also took 19 bovines into their possession and seized the vehicle.
