Srinagar, September 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian police raided the residences of several Kashmiri journalists in Srinagar. Indian police along with personnel of CIK (Counter Intelligence Kashmir) raided the houses of prominent journalists, Showkat Ahmed Mota (Chief of Kashmir Narrator Magazine), Izhaar Qadri and others in Srinagar. Izhaar Qadri is working with many news outlets.
A police official said details of the raid will be shared later as the searches are going on. The journalists talking to media in Srinagar said, it is an act of harassment, coercion as Indian government wants to silence the Kashmiri journalists and is campaigning against them.
