Indian Republic Day observed as Black Day in Leeds, Bradford

Srinagar, January 28, 2018 (PPI-OT):Like other parts of the world, the office holders of UK-based Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International observed Indian Republic Day as Black Day in Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Halifax.

The JKSDMI Chairperson, Councilor Yasmeen Dar, Vice Chairman, Amjad Hussain Mughal, General Secretary, Mohammad Azam and the newly elected Chairman of North West England Councillors Forum, Councillor Asim Rasheed, Raja Najabat Hussain, Mohammad Bootahary and Raja Ishtiaq Ahmad will meet the politicians of Britain for cooperation in organising Kashmir Solidarity Day Conference on February 5 in UK Parliament, London, anniversary of Tiha Jail on February 9 in Bradford and Kashmir Martyrs Day on February 11 in Manchester.

On Black Day, a special prayers session was held at Ghausia Mosque, Leeds, under the chair of Al-Haaj, Arshad Khatana, the President of Councillors for mosques of Leeds, where Raja Najabat Hussain and other leaders strongly condemned the Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir. They said that Labour Party would continue its voice for right to self-determination of the oppressed Kashmiris and would highlight the Kashmir dispute at every forum.
