Indian troops launch operations in Srinagar, Ganderbal

Srinagar, January 13, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops launched cordon and search operations in Srinagar and Ganderbal areas, today. The troops have cordoned off Awantabhavan area of Srinagar and are conducting door-to-door searches, causing huge inconvenience to the local people.

The troops also laid a siege around Gundroshan area of Ganderbal and conducted searches. However, later the troops called off the operation. Meanwhile, a civilian was injured after a shell, littered by Indian troops during some operation, went off in Bandichichya area of Poonch district. The victim, identified as Muhammad Iqbal, is a resident of Islamabad district.
