Srinagar, August 19, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian forces in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one youth in Baramulla district raising the toll to four in the past twenty-four hours in the territory. The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation at Kasturi Naar in Baramulla district, today.
Three other youth were killed by the troops in Tangdhar area of in Kupwara district, yesterday. Director General Police (DGP) S P Vaid also confirmed the killing of the youth. In a separate incident on Saturday, an Indian soldier was killed in a landmine explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Meanwhile, around a dozen youth were detained by the troops during nocturnal raids in Sopore area of Baramulla district. The youth were arrested during night raids in Tujjar village of Sopore in the fake case of stone-throwing incidents. However, family members of the arrested youth maintained that the youth were innocent and had nothing to do with stone-pelting.
