Indian troops ruthlessly beat up traffic cop in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 18, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops ruthlessly beat up a traffic police officer in Srinagar city, today. The traffic police officer Mudassir Ahmed was injured after he was subjected to inhuman torture by the troops near Nowgam Chowk in outskirts of the city. He was rushed to hospital for treatment. The troops vented their anger of deadly IED attack on their vehicle on the poor local traffic police officer.

Meanwhile, soon after a video of a bleeding traffic police officer beaten by Indian army went viral on social media, a school bus driver was beaten by the army in Zawoora area of Shopian district. An eyewitness said besides thrashing a number of shopkeepers in Zawoora, Shopian, a school bus driver identified as Gulzar Ahmed Rathar, a resident of Narpora Shopian was beaten up by the army personnel for no reason at all.

As a part of the routine job, a school bus associated with a private school was picking up the students from Zawoora area, when a posse of army personnel from Shadaab Karewa Camp Shopian caught hold of the driver and thrashed him badly. The incident triggered a protest demonstration by the students and locals in the area demanding action against the Indian army men.
