Indian troops use force on protesters in Islamabad town

Srinagar, July 25, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, several people were injured in violent actions of India forces against protesters in Islamabad town, today. Protests erupted after people defied curfew during a cordon and search operation of Indian forces at Mehmaan mohalla in Lal Chowk locality of the town.

Indian Army’s Rashtriya Rifles 162 and 40 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force had jointly launched the operation. Meanwhile, authorities blocked mobile and Internet services and suspended train service between Srinagar and Banihal.
