Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar today declared a staunch commitment to overcoming Indianbacked proxies involved in terrorism within Pakistan during a session in the National Assembly.
He condemned the recent attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, emphasizing that a thorough investigation is underway to bring the perpetrators to justice. Tarar highlighted that this attack followed a defeat of Indian forces by Pakistan”s military.
Tarar emphasized the destruction of Indian airbases and Rafale jets, dismissing the threat posed by proxies like FitnatulKhwarij. He reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to eradicate these proxies and the broader issue of terrorism.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Minister for Board of Investment, praised the armed forces for their response to Indian aggression, criticizing India”s stance on terrorism. He accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan despite its victim claims.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary noted Pakistan’s triumph over India and the subsequent resorting of India to cowardly attacks. He assured that Indianbacked proxies would be tackled with determination and strength.
Khalid Hussain Magsi, Minister for Science and Technology, remarked on Pakistan’s improved global image following its victory over Indian aggression. He stated that the world now acknowledges Pakistan”s ability to defend its sovereignty.
Other assembly members condemned the attack in Khuzdar, viewing it as a demonstration of India’s aggressive stance, which threatens regional peace. They urged the international community to address these concerns.
In other developments, Education Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui informed the assembly of ongoing negotiations to secure international scholarships for Pakistani students. He detailed efforts under CPEC for collaborative educational projects and future plans to coordinate the country”s education system.
During the session, Parliamentary Secretary for Commerce Zulfiqar Ali Khan announced an upcoming textile policy aimed at boosting exports, while Saad Waseem Sheikh from the Finance Ministry discussed efforts to expand the tax base.
