KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Local Government and Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has directed officials to complete demolition of three-storey building near Clifton submarine underpass for construction of road towards Sunset Boulevard so as to facilitate diversion to traffic moving from Cantt Station towards Korangi road.
The minister gave these directives while visiting Clifton Submarine underpass on Tuesday. Secretary Local Government Syed Najam Shah and others were also present on the occasion. The minister added: “Only four labourer were deployed for the demolition of three-storey building and added that the number of laborers should be increased so as to complete the task as early as possible.
He said that the road construction was part of the submarine underpass project. He said that the demolition work of the building should be completed as soon as possible so that the construction of the road to Sunset Boulevard could be initiated
