Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visits Leady Reading Hospital to inquire health of Constable Jan Akbar

Peshawar, December 01, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salahuddin Khan Mehsood visited Leady Reading Hospital Peshawar where he inquired after the health of RRF police constable Jan Akbar injured in an encounter with the terrorists in Swabi operation today.

The IGP straight went to the bed of the injured constable at surgical ward where he inquired after his health and briefed himself from him about the incident. The IGP also met with the doctors present on the occasion and briefed himself from the nature of the injuries of the jawan and the treatment so far provided to him. The IGP informed the doctors that the injured police jawan was our national Hero and precious assets and take special care of him by ensuring all best medical treatment to him well in time.

Talking to the injured constable the IGP said that the whole force was proved of the bravery and courage exhibited by you against the terrorists. The injured constable informed the IGP that after recovery from the injuries he will again join his colleagues in the field and will fight till last drop of his blood for the defence of the nation.

The IGP also met with the relatives of the injured constable present at the hospital and assured them of best medical treatment and look after to the injured constable. The IGP also presented cash amount of Rs. 20 thousands as a reward and floral wreath to the injured constable. Chief Capital Police Officer Peshawar also accompanied the IGP on this occasion.
