Islamabad, November 29, 2020 (PPI-OT): International Day of solidarity with the Palestinian People is being observed on Sunday. In his message, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has urged the Palestinians and Israel to resolve the conflict in line with relevant UN resolutions, international law and bilateral agreements.
He regretted that the prospects of the two-state solution to the conflict are becoming more distant. Meanwhile, on International Day of solidarity with Palestinian people, Pakistan reiterates its steadfast supports to Palestinian Territories people’s inalienable right to self-determination.
In a tweet tonight, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that for just and lasting peace, it is imperative to have a two-state solution as per relevant United Nations and Organization of Islamic Cooperation resolutions.
