Srinagar, January 20, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have directed the government employees to ensure their presence in the Indian Republic Day functions to be held on January 26. The authorities in an order issued to the government offices said that failure to attend the ceremony would be considered as negligence of duty and disobedience of instructions.
“All the government officers and officials posted in Jammu and Srinagar are required to attend the celebrations, as part of their official duty,” reads the order. The authorities also directed all top officials to ensure attendance of employees of their departments at the functions.
