IOK people urged to boycott Indian polls

Srinagar, April 02, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, has urged the people to completely boycott the sham Indian Parliamentary elections scheduled to be held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 in India and the occupied territory.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the Kashmiris could not be part of the Indian parliament where laws and resolutions are passed only to throttle and subjugate their voice for freedom. He said democracy has lost its values in occupied Kashmir where people are threatened and caged in fictitious and false cases. However, he made it clear that such maneuvering could never cow down the freedom loving Kashmiri people.

Thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of four youth martyred by Indian troops in Lassipora area of Pulwama district, the other day.
