Lahore, September 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):IPO-Pakistan and Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) entered into an institutional agreement for the promotion of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and the establishment of the Technology and Innovation Support Centre (TISC).
In this regard, Ms. Shazia Adnan, Director General, IPO-Pakistan and Mian Tariq Misbah, President, LCCI signed the agreement. Under the Agreement, IPO and LCCI will jointly organize seminars and workshops for the researchers and entrepreneurs besides providing IP related information. It will also be helpful for IT companies to register and protect their IPRs in Pakistan and abroad.
Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) is an initiative of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and implemented in Pakistan by IPO-Pakistan to educate the researchers, entrepreneurs, faculty members and SMEs on Patent information available in national and international databases.
