Iran arrests 61 Pakistani immigrants

TAFTAN:Iranian authorities arrested 61 Pakistani immigrants without documents and handed them over to Levies at Taftan border on Friday.

According to details, a group of 61 Pakistani nationals wanted to go to Europe via Iran-Turkey and Greece in search for employment through agents, but they were arrested by the Iranian officials who later handed them over to Levies force on Taftan border.

The arrested immigrants were handed over to FIA for further investigation. The 22 detained immigrants belong to Punjab, 33 Sindh, three Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one Balochistan and two belonged to Azad Kashmir.
