Islamabad police received accolades Thursday for their exceptional performance in 2025, successfully resolving 15 significant criminal investigations in record time, including the prominent cases of Sardar Faheem, Sana Yousaf, and Ishtiaq Shah. A special ceremony was conducted to recognize the officers’ dedication and expertise.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, presided over the event, personally acknowledging the contributions of officers and staff instrumental in cracking these complex cases.
The IGP presented commendation certificates and monetary rewards to the officers, praising their outstanding achievements. He emphasized that personnel demonstrating exemplary service deserve special recognition.
‘Protecting the lives and assets of our residents is our primary responsibility,’ IGP Rizvi stated. He urged all officers to maintain their commitment to duty, acting with integrity and vigilance. The event highlighted the Islamabad Police”s resolve to maintain law and order and safeguard public safety through efficient and timely investigative work.
