A comprehensive operation by Islamabad Police resulted in the arrest of 15 individuals involved in criminal activities, including drug trafficking and illegal weapon possession.
Multiple police units from Noon, Kirpa, Secretariat, Bhara Kahu, and Shehzad Town were instrumental in apprehending ten suspects and confiscating 1350 grams of heroin, 157 grams of Ice, four pistols, and two guns with ammunition.
Additionally, a targeted campaign led to the capture of five proclaimed offenders and absconders. Authorities have registered cases against those apprehended, and investigations are progressing.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasized the force’s commitment to maintaining peace in the capital. The police department encourages residents to report suspicious activities through local stations or the “Pucar-15” helpline, fostering collaboration to combat crime.
