Islamabad police detained 40 accused for questioning after a large-scale search operation in the Tarnol and Golra districts.

Authorities screened 170 people and inspected 80 residences, 63 motorcycles, and 16 vehicles. The operation, directed by Islamabad Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, is part of a continuing initiative to combat crime in the capital.

Deputy Inspector General Muhammad Jawad Tariq explained that these actions aim to suppress criminal activity and bolster safety throughout the city. Similar operations are being conducted regularly in various locations.

Islamabad police affirmed their dedication to taking decisive action against criminals, illegal land occupiers, and narcotics traffickers. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious behavior to their local police station or the “Pukar-15” emergency hotline.
