The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has implemented new strategies to improve traffic flow around weekly bazaars, following directives from Chief Traffic Officer, Captain (Retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider. These initiatives aim to alleviate congestion and ensure a seamless traffic system for shoppers.

Senior ITP officials conducted site visits to assess current conditions and brief traffic personnel on effective management techniques. Officers were directed to maintain vigilance and ensure strict adherence to protocols.

Personnel have been strategically stationed at entry and exit points, parking zones, and key areas to prevent disruptions and maintain order. The CTO urged the public to utilize designated parking spaces to avoid hindering traffic movement. Penalties, including fines, will be enforced for violations.

Captain Haider emphasized the ITP”s commitment to public convenience and order. He encouraged adherence to traffic regulations, promoting responsible civic behavior. The safety and security of citizens, alongside efficient traffic management within the capital, remain top priorities for the Islamabad Police.
