In a parallel security initiative, the Islamabad Police conducted a grand search and combing operation in various areas under the jurisdiction of Noon Police Station, Industrial Area Zone.

The operation, led by Superintendent of Police (SP) Industrial Area, involved the participation of lady police officers and was preceded by a thorough briefing session.

During the operation, 55 individuals were checked, 37 houses and 10 commercial shops were inspected, 23 motorcycles and 11 vehicles were scrutinized, 5 suspicious individuals were taken into custody, one accused was arrested and illegal weapons with ammunition were recovered.

This operation is part of a larger anti-crime drive ordered by the Inspector General (IG) Police Islamabad, who has directed police across the district to intensify efforts to curb criminal activities.

Police officials have appealed to citizens to cooperate during security checks and report any suspicious behavior.
