Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh, Kashif Saeed Sheikh, has accused President Trump of being equally complicit in the massacre of innocent Palestinians, following which the United States vetoed the United Nations Security Council’s ceasefire resolution for Gaza. Sheikh criticized Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and others from Form Forty-Seven, who previously considered Trump as a proponent of peace, and urged them to acknowledge the reality of the situation. He questioned the loyalty to Trump’s leadership, urging the rulers to reject such subservience and demonstrate national pride by opposing Israel’s aggressive actions against unarmed Palestinians.
In a strongly worded statement, Sheikh declared the United States a global terrorist, stating that its recent actions have confirmed support for the ongoing violence in Gaza by Israel. He challenged Shehbaz Sharif to reconsider his endorsement of Trump as a peace advocate, especially in light of the war crimes that have resulted in the martyrdom of 55,000 people, including 25,000 innocent children, in Gaza. Sheikh highlighted the negative impacts of U.S. involvement in foreign wars, emphasizing the ongoing inflation, high taxes, and consequences of terrorism on the Pakistani economy.
Furthermore, he warned of a covert alliance among the United States, India, and Israel for the exploitation of Muslim resources and criticized certain Muslim leaders for aiding in this conspiracy. Sheikh stated that neither the Muslim Ummah nor history will forgive such actions and called for a reevaluation of alliances and a strong stance against oppression.
