Peshawar: Jamaat-o-Dawa (JD) district Peshawar on Friday held a motorcycle rally from Peshawar press club to Qisa Khuwani Bazaar against desecration of Holy Quran wherein they participated in public meeting of Jamaat-e- Islami (JI).
The JI public gathering was against burning copies of Holy Quran by US-led NATO forces at Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan.
The participants of the rally were holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-US and NATO forces slogans.
Strongly condemning desecration of Holy Quran by NATO forces in Afghanistan, the porters said that those who burned the copies of Holy Quran were not able to pardon them therefore the involved should be awarded with death sentence punishment.
They said that Pakistani rulers on this incident should cut off its diplomatic relation relations with America and constantly stop NATO supply, adding if punishment were not awarded to the involved persons protests would be continued.
